University Campus Suffolk (UCS) opened in 2007 and is one of the newest Higher Education institutions in the UK.
Located in the East of England, UCS is a unique institution, created in partnership with the Universities of East Anglia and Essex, who jointly validate UCS degrees. UCS is built around a Learning Network, with the main hub in Ipswich and centres across Suffolk and Great Yarmouth.
UCS has a varied and diverse student body, which creates a stimulating and inspiring place to study.
There are over 5,000 students across the UCS Network, approximately 70% of which are based at the main hub in Ipswich. Approximately 67% of UCS students are female and approximately 42% are mature students (over 21 years of age).
In 2015 the Higher Education Review (HER) by the national Quality Assurance Agency (QAA) deemed that UCS met all of the expectations of the UK Quality Code for Higher Education.
UCS is working towards becoming an independent university with the right to award its own undergraduate and taught postgraduate degrees. This move is fully supported by both University of East Anglia and the University of Essex.查看详情
